November 2009COMBAT FITNESS SPONSORS "A RUN TO REMEMBER"
Hosted by the Corner Brook Running Club, this years 11km run on Remembrance Day was sponsored by Combat Fitness. Participants were out in full force to show their appreciation for those who served and died for their country.

July 2009COMBAT FITNESS WINS THE BMO DOWNTOWN DASH CORPORATE CHALLENGE:
Consisting primarily of CF students and some family members, Team Combat Fitness beat out a field of 12 teams to take home the BMO Corporate Challenge Award. Points were awarded for the number of team participants and for finishing times in the 5km race with the overall winner being the team who collected the most points. Team Combat Fitness registered with 35 runners and had finishers in the top 5 in both the mens and womens divisions. Student and team member Rhonda Mitchellmore won the womens division with a time of 22:02. In total, Team CF collected 6038 points to win the title. |

July 2009COMBAT FITNESS STUDENTS RUN IN THE TELY 10
This years Tely 10 race, a 16km race held annually in St. John's Newfoundland, featured four runners from the Combat Fitness fold. Students Trina Bussey, Janalee Perrett, Ulrica Pye and Arlene Curtis made the trek to St. John's to run the 16 km race. For Janalee, Ulrica and Arlene it was their first ever Tely 10 and the longest distance they have ever ran. This was Trina's second year running the Tely 10 in which she attained a personal best time. Congrats to the girls on a job well done.

October 2008COMBAT FITNESS PARTICIPATES IN CIBC'S RUN FOR THE CURE
On October 5th, 2008 a group of 15, current and former students, were out in full force in support of breast cancer research. Our team completed the 5km run with high spirits and raised over $3000. In recognition of our efforts, the Combat Fitness team won the McCain's Friends and Family Team Challenge Award for raising the most money. |

August 2008 COMBAT FITNESS STUDENTS HIKE GROS MORNE
With a new found enthusiasm for staying active, on August 9th a group of Combat Fitness students decided to challenge themselves even further by completing a 6 hour hike in Newfoundland's Gros Morne National Park. August 2008COMBAT FITNESS: A FAMILY AFFAIR!
When one joined, they all joined! Beverly Wells, was the first to enlist; she was soon followed by her sister Paula O'Quinn, daughter Stephanie Wells, and her two best friends Anne Elliott and Doris King. Dubbed 'The Wells' Platoon,' the group made it through the four weeks of training by supporting and encouraging each other every step of the way. They were especially supportive during week four of the program which is known as 'Hell Week.'
